American Folk Dance for Families

Pardon the construction dust. Please be aware that a designated caregiver has to stay on site until we receive the city permit for drop offs. Once we receive city approval, we will notify you that you can now drop off your child. You will have to sign that off during registration.

Families, Ages: 5-100 - grownups without a family member under the age 18 at the event are not allowed for the safety of children.

Instructor: Meg Dedolph

Description: Try out easy-to-learn traditional dances in a relaxed, no-pressure setting. All dances will be taught, so no experience is necessary. We'll explore longways set dances, square dances and playparty games, as well as some of the older dances that inspired these American originals. Learn old favorites and newly composed works, but come ready to dance! Comfortable shoes and clothes are a must, and please don't forget a water bottle. Learn something new together as a family!
