Description: There are two time slots for Pre-Algebra and one time slot for Algebra. Students will work through elements of Pre-Algebra and Algebra in small groups or 1:1 with the teacher, all at their own pace. You can choose if you wish for homework to be assigned or for all work to be completed in class. There may be assigned reading weekly in the class. The goal is not to complete an entire course in 8-10 weeks but to work toward that goal. Once a student completes one subject, they can move into the next in the same session, the teacher will differentiate. During the 3 sessions we will offer for the year, the student should cover the subjects in their entirety. Students do not receive grades, instead the teacher will advise you on mastery of each topic.
